Morritt's Resort on Grand Cayman Unveils New Luxury Section

morrit's resortMorritt’s Resort, a 184-unit on Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, opened The Londoner, a 20-unit luxury section of the property, on May 16.

The official opening was celebrated with a VIP ceremony and reception including the Morritt family, island dignitaries, representatives from Interval International, members of the press and resort staff.

Clients can book The Londoner’s Grand Opening promotion, which offers a two-bedroom suite for $250 per night (accommodates up to six people), a townhouse for $275 per night (accommodates up to six people) and a three-bedroom penthouse for $350 per night (accommodates up to eight people).

David Morritt, developer and president of Morritt’s Properties Ltd., lives on property and notes, “The Londoner has all the ingredients that will help provide a truly luxurious experience in the Cayman Islands and I am very proud of what we have built.”

The Londoner consists of 10 two-bedroom units accommodating up to six people; six two-bedroom townhouses accommodating up to six people and four three-bedroom penthouses accommodating up to eight people. Accommodations at The Londoner include extra-large private balconies overlooking the beach, "Caribbean chic" décor and ocean views.

Clients will enjoy Caribbean cuisine at the resort’s restaurants, David’s Deep Blue Restaurant & Bar and Mimi’s Dock Bar & Restaurant, including daily happy hour specials and festive themed nights.

Among the many on-site leisure activities available to clients are Tortuga Divers and Red Sail Sports, providing jet skiing, sailing, kayaking, wind surfing, banana boat rides, scuba diving, full- and half-day snorkeling trips and boat excursions.

Guests looking for some more relaxation can experience La Mer Spa. Located on-site at the Morritt’s Resort Tortuga Club, La Mer Spa features a sauna, a manicure/pedicure station, two massage suites and one couples massage suite with shower. 

Camp David, the resort’s children's activities program, offers fun and excitement for younger clients (ages 4 – 12 years) including sandcastle building, scavenger hunts, cave explorations, beach Olympics, arts and crafts and nature walks. The resort also features its own shopping center which houses Fosters Express grocery store, Sundry Boutique, Jacques Scott Wines & Spirits, Grand Jewelers, Andy’s Rent-A-Car and Italian Kitchen Restaurant & Pizzeria.
