Vacation Express reports that the Department of Transportation (DOT) approved extension of their Sunwing Airlines program for weekly operation to Cancun, Montego Bay and Punta Cana through October 2013 is growing.
Since the announcement of the new seasonal service in December, support from the Cincinnati and northern Kentucky areas has been very strong, Vacation Express says. This includes travel agents who have been 'extremely enthusiastic' about the schedule and the enhanced Sunwing amenities.
"Originally scheduled to operate seasonally from May to October 2012, with the demand so high, we made the decision to extend the program into next year," stated Rene Jongmans, president of Vacation Express. "Our philosophy is to come out with the best rates in advance; so for those looking to secure the best vacation prices for travel in 2013, a good time to book is now."
Vacation Express offers the only year-round nonstop international service to Cancun, Montego Bay and Punta Cana from the Cincinnati area. One of the company's most prolific booking markets, customers in the region are very familiar with Vacation Express and will no doubt be pleased with the Sunwing program extension through the fall of 2013, Vacation Express says.
The expansion comes as Vacation Express launches a new collection of all-inclusive family resorts. Named SMILE hotels, these hotels are designated with a "smile" icon on the company's website.
All of the SMILE family resorts, located in the Caribbean and Mexico, feature special Kids Clubs, restaurants with child-friendly options and nightly family-appropriate entertainment.
Every SMILE hotel allows up to two children between the ages of two and 12 to stay, eat and play for free when sharing a room with at least one parent. Vacation Express also offers special preferential pricing for teens aged 13 to 17.
All SMILE resorts waive the Single Supplement fee for single parents sharing a room with their children.
All these family prices are valid every night of the year, even over peak holiday periods without black-out dates.
