Caesars to Come to China

Fans of Caesars in Las Vegas, who don't necessarily hit the casino floor, will love the operator's plans to build a 1,000-room, non-gambling luxury resort in China, according to the Associated Press.

The Caesars Palace Longmu Bay on the southern Chinese island of Hainan will be a $470 million resort, and the first venture for Caesars Global Life, a non-casino division. The property will offer high-profile shoes, a 36-hole championship golf course, a marina, spa, shopping and restaurants. It is slated to debut in 2014.

CEO Gary Loveman told the Associated Press that it is his goal to develop 25 hotels and resorts in China over the next five years.
