The Knickerbocker Hotel and Club Macanudo in New York City have formed a partnership, launching the alfresco cigar lounge, “Club Macanudo at The Knick.” This new lounge opened today at The Knickerbocker’s rooftop bar, St. Cloud. At this new lounge, Guests will be able to pair handmade cigars with signature drinks and small plates.
The lounge will also hold special events and will have a range of cigar brands, including Macanudo, Cohiba and CAO. The original Club Macanudo is located on 26 East 63rd Street and the new location will be on the southeast corner of 42nd Street, which overlooks Times Square between Broadway and Bryant Park.
Charlie Palmer created the St. Cloud menu and there will be exclusive dishes served at Club Macanudo, including applewood-smoked pork belly skewers with a rum glaze. The atmosphere will include a speakeasy vibe and there will be entertainment, music and other experiences year-round.
