Deborah Lunn has been named the manager of the new Sanctuary Hotel at Times Square. Lunn will be in charge of the final stages of the launch of the four-star New York City hotel, which is set to debut in spring 2011.
“With over two decades of demonstrated leadership in the hospitality industry, most notably in Manhattan, Deborah is the ideal addition to our team,” said Hank Freid, CEO of Impulsive Group, Sanctuary Hotel owner and operator. “Having successfully opened many New York City hotels, Deborah will use her extensive knowledge of the city’s luxury market to ensure guests receive an enhanced experience at the new Sanctuary Hotel.”
Lunn, formerly Deborah McCluskey, is a 25-year veteran of the hospitality industry. She has worked as general manager at Ink48 and the Empire Hotel, in both cases during the launch of the hotel. Lunn has also worked at the W New York, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels & Resorts and Park Lane Hotels.
