Buyers and sellers of Australia travel are converging this week in Adelaide for the annual Australian Tourism Exchange. More than 600 buyers from 40 countries are in attendance at the event, which is showcasing the country's diverse range of tourism product. Tourism entities also are on hand. The largest tourism tradeshow in the Southern Hemisphere, ATE has drawn some 1,700 exhibitors from 630 companies. The annual conference has been conducted since 1979; this is the first time it is taking place in Adelaide.
