BlackLine at First-Ever Shared Services Conference for Hospitality Industry

This week at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, representatives from the financial software provider BlackLine Systems along with clients from MGM Resorts Intl., the Las Vegas Sand Corp. and Caesars Entertainment, will all be presenting at the first ever Shared Services for Hospitality conference.

The conference, titled “The Road to Reconciliation: Best Practices for Achieveing Balance Sheet Integrity in the Hospitality Industry” will be moderated by BlackLine Close Governance and Product Specialist Susan Parcells, CPA.

The BlackLine session will focus on how automating traditionally manual accounting processes through technology can eliminate spreadsheets and reduce the headaches that go along with them. The whole presentation will focus on the on the idea of how technology can enable the hospitality industry to be run more efficiently, especially in the area of accounting where large hotels are operating on a global scale.

After that, panelists including Sheri Folks of MGM Resorts International, Linda Shaffer of Las
Vegas Sands Corp, and Max Fisher of Caesars, will share their insight on how organizations operating in shared services environments can communicate better, increase productivity, reduce bottom line cost and generally become more efficient by implementing these automated methods.

Following this, BlackLine CEO Therese Tucker will join a shared services executive from Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for a session entitled “The Role of Technology in Achieving Best Practices”.
