Based on the number of pre-scheduled appointments, the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s (CHTA) Caribbean Marketplace 2010 is poised to set a new record.
CHTA has arranged 11,930 pre-scheduled appointments for Caribbean Marketplace 2010, the second highest in the past eight years and just 3 percent behind the total appointments for Caribbean Marketplace 2009.
Currently there are 1,019 delegates registered for the conference with registration continuing through the start of the conference. Staged by CHTA, along with the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, Puerto Rico Convention Bureau, Puerto Rico Hotel and Tourism Association, MasterCard and Virgin Holidays, Caribbean Marketplace takes place at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan from January 10-12.
