The first-ever expansion of Cruise Lines International Association’s (CLIA; www.cruising.org) cruise3sixty conference outside of North America will take place in Sydney, Australia, on February 7, 2014. The launch of cruise3sixty Australasia underscores CLIA’s commitment to travel agents worldwide and its reach as an advocate and marketing presence for the global cruise industry, the association says.

Marking the 10th anniversary of the cruise3sixty brand, cruise3sixty Australasia will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, Australia, and will include a robust catalog of educational and informational sessions along with a trade show, CLIA says. Bookings are open now for the conference, which will feature CLIA global president Christine Duffy along with cruise line representatives and industry leaders. Delegate registration for cruise3sixty Australasia is available at www.cruise3sixty.com.au.

CLIA also reports the 10th annual North American cruise3sixty conference and trade show is set for April 2-6 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. More than 700 agents have already signed up for the event, which will introduce 10 new CLIA seminars, with a record 27 ships available for inspection, CLIA says. Last year’s conference—held at the Vancouver Convention Centre—drew more than 1,950 total delegates.
