AAA Travel Honors Travel Agents and Partners

blue ribbonAAA Travel, one of the largest leisure travel agencies, recognized top-performing agents and suppliers at its annual travel conference in Dallas, Texas. 

The agency presented two top-performing travel agents with AAA Travel’s Superlative Awards at the Association’s annual travel conference in Dallas, Texas.

The awards were presented in four categories; Highest Overall Sales Volume, Highest Revenue Produced, Highest Preferred Partner Cruise Sales and Highest Preferred Partner Tour Sales.

AAA Travel also recognized ten travel industry suppliers with the 2013 Partner of the Year awards in recognition of their commitment to AAA agents.

AAA Travel’s 2013 Superlative Award Travel Agent Winners:

AAA Travel’s Superlative Awards are based upon the highest leisure travel productivity between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013. AAA has more than 1,000 accredited, full-service travel agency offices in the United States and Canada.

Royal Caribbean International, Best Western International, Trafalgar and Air by Pleasant took top honors among AAA Travel suppliers with the 2013 Partner of the Year awards.

The awards were given in 19 categories and were unveiled at AAA Travel’s annual conference.

“AAA Travel’s Partner of the Year awards were presented to some of the best and most well-respected brands in the travel industry,’ said William Sutherland, vice president, AAA Travel. “Each of these companies are dedicated and committed to providing our travel agents and ultimately the traveling member world-class service and vacations. We are pleased to honor them with this award.”  

The selection process entails surveys and evaluations from the association’s club travel agency executives, asking them to rate the 38 preferred travel suppliers in five categories: marketing, service, product, technology, sales and training.
