ABC Global Services reports the recent kick off of the first of its UpClose with ABC Global Services events of the year in Boston.
The networking event brought together travel advisors with other professionals and suppliers from hotels around the world. During the evening more than $4,000 in contributions was raised for One Fund Boston to aid the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.
The Boston event enabled professional travel advisors to network with industry colleagues, ABC staff and suppliers, while developing new relationships and learning more about products and services that give them a business edge, ABC reports. Prizes also were given out during the evening, including free stays at hotels around the world.
To support victims of the recent Boston Marathon tragedy, eight hoteliers joined ABC in pledging more than $4,000 to the cause, including Fairmont/Raffles/Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, Worldhotels, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotel Group, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Denihan Hospitality Group, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group and Red Roof Inns Nationwide.

The Boston UpClose with ABC Global Services event also allowed travel advisors to learn more about ABC’s new booking engine, ezBook by ABC. The company provided live demonstrations of the easy-to-use hotel booking portal, and showed travel advisors how they can get immediate access to a vast global inventory, multiple rates and commission options, and buying power to give clients valuable amenities and high-end service.
