ABC Global Launches Emergency Services

travel insuranceABC Global Services reports a partnership with Emergency Travel Services (ETS) to provide ABC 24/7, an after-hours service to meet travelers’ needs.

ABC’s clients—which include travel agencies and corporate travel departments—can access Emergency Travel Service’s 24-hour call center travel service to supplement their own services.

The call center enables clients to offer both after-hours services to handle emergencies and overflow services for times when they are short-staffed or are handling large booking volumes, ABC said.

Travelers increasingly expect their agencies to be available immediately when they need assistance and ABC 24/7 will be a valuable asset even to those agencies that already have a call center service, according to ABC. Through ETS, ABC will offer a strong roster of core services, including a VIP service, daytime rollover service and flexible reporting.

Based in New Haven, Conn., Emergency Travel Service (ETS) has been in operation since 1996 and brings a customized approach to after-hours travel based on the premise that they are a seamless extension of an agency’s daytime services, ABC says.

ABC 24/7 will be offered in addition to the other tools and services ABC has developed for its clients, including ABC Global e-Travel Alerts, a Duty of Care product that keeps clients informed of potential travel disruptions that arise around the globe, including natural disasters, political unrest, strikes and health warnings.

“Offered at highly competitive pricing with a “Simple Fee” structure, ABC 24/7 is an invaluable asset for our clients,” ABC Global Services CEO Eric Altschul said.
