CCRA Signs Six New Global Distributor Agreements

CCRA’s Global Network Division reports signing new global distributor agreements in Ireland, Thailand, Egypt, Portugal, Singapore and the Netherlands, extending CCRA’s international presence to over 14,000 travel agencies and more than 20,000 travel agents.

The company also announced that it has added two new positions to support its global development. Melissa Fernelius was named Director of Global Agency Relations and Tara Hyland as Director of Global Supplier Relations. Both will report to Peter E. Pincus, President of CCRA’s Global Network Division.

Joining the CCRA’s Global Distribution Network are:  Travel Centres in Dublin, Ireland; NS Travel in Bangkok, Thailand; Gateway Egypt in Caro, Egypt; AIRMET in Lisbon, Portugal; ReZsource Travel in Singapore – also representing Malaysia and the Philippines, and e-Business Travel in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands – also representing Belgium and Luxembourg.

Established in December 2010, CCRA’s Global Distribution Network has signed agreements with 15 Global Network distributors, representing over 14,000 agencies in 28 countries to date.

Fernelius will be responsible for developing CCRA’s newly formed, Global Agency Relations department. Hyland will be responsible for directing CCRA’s supplier relations department and will oversee the company’s network of supplier relationships worldwide.
