Cruise Network Introduces Air Booking Platform

CruiseOne & Cruises Inc., both part of World Travel Holdings (WTH), report the debut of a new air booking platform, dubbed “SelectAir.” The program adds new commission opportunities for agents and makes full-service vacation planning easier for travelers.

“SelectAir is yet another innovative program to help our franchise owners and agents be successful,” said Dwain Wall, Senior Vice President and General Manager of CruiseOne & Cruises Inc.  “We believe in being as responsive as possible to the demands of our agents and finding new ways to increase their profitability.  CruiseOne & Cruises Inc. agents can now earn commissions booking air and offer their customers a full suite of vacation planning services.”

Through the new program, travelers booking a vacation with CruiseOne or Cruises Inc. will be able to manage all aspects of their vacation simultaneously, the networks say.

The program provides competitive pricing with no advance purchase requirements.  Fares can be purchased one-way or round-trip without a cost increase and allow for open-ended itineraries (beneficial to those booking one-way cruises).  Some fares are refundable and changeable and itineraries do not require instant purchase.

Taking the program one step further for consumers booking cruise vacations, CruiseOne & Cruises Inc. will also provide a “next port” guarantee, flying travelers to their next port of call in the event of any mechanical flight delay.  All fares are commissionable to agents.
