Ensemble Expands Air and Hotel Programs

airlineDuring Ensemble's International Conference in Palm Springs, the organization reported the addition of new suppliers to its Air By Ensemble program, as well as a new hotel booking platform on the horizon.

Ensemble's Brian Chapin, senior director, air and travel solutions, reported the addition of Delta Air Lines, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Alitalia and Cathay Pacific Airways to the lineup of preferred suppliers. These new partners bring the total number of airlines added this year to 10 and boost the overall program portfolio to 30, Ensemble said.

Rounding out the 10 new air partners in 2014 for Ensemble are Qantas, SAS, Hainan Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines and Royal Air Maroc

Chapin said members have the opportunity to earn revenue in several ways with the organization’s 30 carriers – including commissions, overrides, or net fares – depending on the specific partner agreement. Ensemble members can make 15 or even 27 or 30 percent on an airline ticket, especially when selling first-class or business-class air.

Ensemble Travel also reports members will soon have access to a new hotel booking platform.

Powered by Hotelzon, a Travelport company, Ensemble Hotel Express will display in priority both the amenity-driven Ensemble Hotel & Resort Collection and preferred rates provided by the Radius Travel Global Hotel Program, Ensemble’s preferred corporate hotel program.

The migration to the Hotel Express booking platform will be completed by December 2014, Ensemble says, giving members access to a tool that integrates the luxury-focused Ensemble Hotel & Resort Collection with the Radius Global Hotel Program for a full complement of lodging options for their clients.
