The 2011 Ensemble Travel Group Executive Symposium series will kick off in New York on April 28 with a program designed to help members strategically grow their business, further their engagement in the Ensemble organization, and immerse themselves in the very latest collection of Ensemble products and services.
The series of five full-day events—grouped by membership territory—features two tracks: one for owner/managers and one for frontline agents. The executive session will focus on strategy, Ensemble financials, industry trends and program updates.
“Through workshops, discussion groups, and strategy sessions, we’ll harness our ability to analyze ever-changing market conditions and adapt as needed,” said Ensemble Travel Group Vice President Joe Jiffo. “The real take-away here for both owners/managers and selling agents is the pursuit of even higher performance standards for their agency.”
Frontline agents will participate in an interactive workshop, “How to Become a Leading Expert,” led by Michael Katz, an award-winning humorist and marketer. According to Katz, being seen as an expert—someone who adds value and expertise to the travel experience—opens doors and makes all of your business-building efforts more efficient and more productive. This will help agents modify the way they position themselves, moving past barriers and developing a plan of action to get them on the path to expert stature. Katz will also deliver a session for Ensemble owner/managers.
Along with Jiffo, the sessions will be led by Ensemble Travel Group Co-Presidents Libbie Rice and Lindsay Pearlman, Senior Director Brian Chapin and the Ensemble business development directors in their respective territories.
