Ensemble Travel Group is reporting the election results of its North American Board of Directors, including a total of five directors were elected by Ensemble members, with three from the U.S. and two from Canada.
Newly elected members include: Barbara Crowe, Ixtapa Travel, Saskatoon, SK (incumbent), Robert Durant, WD World Travel Ltd., Vancouver, BC (incumbent), Linda Sains, Lindale Travel, Asheville, NC, Ross Spalding, Crown Cruise Vacations, Princeton, NJ and Mary Ann Strasheim, Custom Cruises & Travel, Omaha, NE.

Ensemble's board is responsible for providing input on key strategic initiatives and programs to help members become more profitable and to support the Ensemble network of preferred suppliers.
The group notes Board members guide the overall direction of the organization, strengthening and leveraging its North American position in the marketplace. A member-owned travel agency cooperative, the electoral process is one of the many ways Ensemble members play a key role in guiding the organization’s success.
The five newly elected directors join the following who are currently serving on the Ensemble board: Ian Biddlecombe, TravelTST.ca, Richmond, BC; Roxanne Boryczki, Arizona Trails Travel, Fountain Hills, AZ; Nadia Giudice-Aslan, Voyages Groupe Ideal, Montreal, QC; David Harris, Orion Travelinx in Burlington, ON; Philip Houde, River East Travel & Cruise Centre, Winnipeg, MB; Craig Pavlus, Pavlus Travel, Albuquerque, NM; Jill Romano, Dimensions in Travel, Novato, CA; Susan Tanzman, Martin’s Travel and Tours, Los Angeles, CA; and Warren Buckner, Gayety Travel Service, Brooklyn, NY (member emeritus).
Ensemble thanked Jerry Davis of Alice Travel in Fairfield, NJ for serving this past year as Ensemble’s first official chairman of the board. Moving up from vice chairman to chairman is David Harris of Orion Travelinx in Burlington, ON. Davis is rotating off the board as are Robbie Gold of Travel Center Tours in Chicago, IL and Susan Weissberg of Wyllys Professional Travel in Coral Gables, FL.
