Luxury Travel Network Reports First Graduate

jessica scottThe Luxury Travel Network, a host agency, reports the first graduate of their new University of Luxury training program launched earlier in the year. Jessica Scott, owner of Great Scott Escapes travel agency, is the first travel consultant to complete the luxury travel educational series, Luxury Travel Network reports.

"The University of Luxury has equipped me with the resources I need to serve my clients in a way that sets me miles apart from my competitors,” described Scott, owner of Great Scott Escapes. “Any agent who continually invests time to improve their skills in sales, product knowledge, customer relations and marketing will stay up on the latest vacation trends and offerings for their clients. I think the University of Luxury gives agents the resources and training that will help turn them into a sought-after expert.”

Scott has been in the travel industry for ten years, and started out selling simple, pre-packaged, last-minute getaways to Disney World, Las Vegas and Cancun. Gradually she began booking more Alaska and Caribbean cruises and trips to Europe, and now she focuses her business on selling family vacations and cruises. She particularly likes sending families on their first Disney cruise because she says it is such a magical experience.

The University of Luxury training program was created to help budding luxury travel advisors build their luxury travel knowledge and sales. Experienced travel advisors must join the Luxury Travel Network to embark on the six-week certification program, and earn the agency’s luxury affiliation through the host agency upon completion.

Scott took a series of online courses covering technology, customer management, and sales and marketing. She then met with Sharon Concepcion, operations manager of the Luxury Travel Network, to select her specialty and was required to complete additional destination and supplier classes related to her area of focus. To reward Scott for completing the program, Luxury Travel Network has arranged for her to visit Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa to obtain a first-hand experience at a family-oriented upscale resort related to her niche.

Completion of the entire University of Luxury program unlocks all of the benefits the travel advisor can tap into such as exclusive travel connections, marketing opportunities and luxury amenities, Luxury Travel Network says.

The Luxury Travel Network program is affiliated with Cruise Specialists and its parent company Travel Leaders Leisure group.
