Registration is now open for the National Association of Career Travel Agents’ (NACTA) 2012 Annual Convention, taking place at the newly renovated, all-inclusive Club Med Sandpiper Bay, Port St Lucie, Fla., Nov. 10-13, 2012.
NACTA reports that participants have the opportunity to become Club Med Expert Agents and have the chance to hear from a stellar line-up of featured speakers and participate in business-boosting education sessions - geared to helping them increase their bottom lines with proven sales and marketing techniques.
“The NACTA 2012 Annual Convention will present independent consultants with opportunities to network and learn from one another and is guaranteed to provide attendees with a great return on their investment,” said Ann van Leeuwen, NACTA’s vice president.

· Industry thought leaders: Featured speakers include Nina Meyer, acting ASTA CEO, Scott Koepf, vice president of sales, Avoya Travel/American Express, and Dave Stockert, former director of national accounts, Holland America Line.
· Product workshops from leading suppliers. Agents will expand their product knowledge and sales skills thanks to workshops from such leading industry suppliers and organizations as National Tour Association, CLIA, Celebrity Cruises, Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Brendan Vacations.

Early-bird registration fee of $329 (double occupancy) is available to NACTA and ASTA members until July 31. The convention includes three nights’ accommodations and all meals and beverages. Also included in the registration rate is access to the full program of events, which includes workshops, special featured speakers, a tradeshow, roundtable sessions, themed gala event and presentations from NACTA’s premier supplier partners.
NACTA has made it easy to combine attendance at Cruise World and the NACTA conference by offering non-NACTA member travel agents a special early-bird rate of $474/person (double occupancy), which includes a one-year NACTA membership. Special early-bird rates expire July 31.
