PATH Sponsors Symposium for Host Agencies in Las Vegas

The Professional Association of Travel Hosts (PATH)) reports it will sponsor its 3rd Annual Symposium at the Venetian Resort, Las Vegas, on May 16-17.The symposium will be open to all host agencies, both PATH members and non-members.
During the event, host agency owners and managers will have the opportunity to address common challenges within the host agency business and collaborate to identify best practices on supplier partnerships, tools, technology and training, PATH said.

“Our goal is to provide a forum for host agency owners and managers to address some of the common issues and opportunities they are facing. The interaction and collaboration is beneficial to any business hosting independent contractors, regardless of the size,”  Anita Pagliasso, president of PATH and president of Ticket To Travel said.
 
There will be opportunities to discuss Host needs from supplier partners, PATH said. PATH will also have guest speakers to discuss Host Agency Best Practices, Sellers of Travel laws, an update on IC law, Legal Do’s and Don’ts of Running a Host Agency, Fraud issues facing the Host Agency and Independent Contractor and how to overcome them.
 
“Through this symposium, PATH’s mission is to continue to provide a strong and equitable voice for all reputable host agencies. We have found while working together we are better able to forge a future that benefits all host agencies and the travel industry as a whole.  The association will continue to work together to create a leveraged voice regarding host needs, and to address common challenges,” says Pagliasso. 

The PATH Symposium will be held in conjunction with the Las Vegas Home-Based Travel Agent Forum at the Venetian Resort.
PATH serves host agencies and offers resource for independent and home-based agents that currently work with a host agency or are planning to choose a host agency.
