South African Tourism Partners With Virtuoso

cape town, south africaSouth African Tourism, the national tourism agency for marketing of South Africa, reports it will showcase the country at Virtuoso Travel Week. This is its second consecutive year as Tourist Board Partner in the VAST Program, the supplier platform of Virtuoso.

During the 11th Annual VAST Globe Trotting & Training Expo, Saturday, August 9, South African Tourism will educate more than 400 travel advisors on the offerings of South Africa. South African Tourism will also host a luncheon for an additional 250 travel advisors on Monday, August 11.

The event follows the release of the 2014 Virtuoso Luxe Report, in which South Africa garnered top honors across multiple categories, including the number one spot for “Most Popular Adventure Travel Destination.” South Africa notes it was also the runner-up for “Most Popular International Leisure Destination for 2014” and the number six spot for “Most Popular Family Travel Destination for 2014.”
