The 2011 Travel Leaders Sydney Summit Already Sold Out

Travel Leaders reported that its Associates (franchisees) from the U.S. are converging on Sydney, Australia, for Travel Leaders’ sold-out 12th Annual International Summit, which begins tomorrow at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney, Australia. This year’s International Summit has attracted 88 attendees, primarily consisting of Travel Leaders Associates, but also select preferred supplier representatives and key Travel Leaders executives, including Travel Leaders Group Founder and Chairman Michael Batt and Travel Leaders Franchise Group President Roger E. Block.

“Each Travel Leaders International Summit serves as our premier networking extravaganza of the year, and this year is no different, thanks to the intimate settings we have chosen to wow our Travel Leaders VIPs,” Block explained. “While our attendees will participate in a relatively brief business meeting, the primary focus of our International Summit is to provide our guests with ample time to spend time with our leadership while enjoying all that our world-class destination affords.”

The 2011 International Summit marks the first time the annual event has been hosted on the Australian continent, Travel Leaders says. Previous Travel Leaders International Summits have been mounted in London (2000), Hong Kong (2001), Paris (2002), Barcelona (2003), Budapest (2004), Dublin (2005), Rome (2006), Dubai (2007), Berlin (2008), Santiago (2009) and Jerusalem (2010).

Each International Summit has always featured one highly exclusive event for Travel Leaders Associates, varying from the private tour of the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican to the insider’s look at the Dead Sea Scrolls at Jerusalem’s Israel Museum, as well as the luxurious dinner at Berlin’s Reichstag (home of the German Bundestag) to the white glove Arabian Nights dinner and camel rides in the desert outside of Dubai. This year’s International Summit culminates in an exclusive gala at Sydney’s iconic Opera House, Travel Leaders said.

“Demand ran much higher than we anticipated – so much so that we worked closely with our partners at Qantas Vacations and Tourism Australia in providing additional fam opportunities for our attendees,” Block noted. “Given that one out of every four certified Aussie Specialist is now part of Travel Leaders, we shouldn’t have been surprised by the outstanding response of our Associates in wanting to attend.”
