Travel Leaders has announced this year’s Agency of Excellence and Employee of Excellence award winners during the 2014 Travel Leaders National Meeting.
The Agency of Excellence awards recognized 22 agencies for their leadership and business success.
To earn the award each agency is scored in categories that reflect business growth; utilization of marketing programs to effectively reach local consumers; participation in key training programs to enhance service, local and national business networking meetings and their promotion of the Travel Leaders brand.

Employee of Excellence Award Winners
Three travel agents were also named as Travel Leaders’ Employee of Excellence Award Winners. The winners included:
Carrie Hendricks, Travel Leaders, Oklahoma City -- Her expertise and specialties include: Australia, Mexico, and The Bahamas, as well as luxury
travel, destination weddings and honeymoon travel. For the last seven years, she has consistently generated well over $1 million in sales per year and that figure is increasing.
Meridith O’Toole, Minneapolis/St. Paul area travel agent -- She was cited for personally producing $1.7 million in sales the past year. Later this month, she will celebrate her 20th. anniversary with the Travel Leaders location. O’Toole has been in the travel industry a total of 32 years and handles both leisure and corporate travel. Her expertise and specialties include: luxury travel, European culture, worldwide river cruising, Mediterranean cruises and Jamaica.
Todd Weese, a Baltimore, Maryland-area travel agent (Safe Harbors Travel Group – a Tzell branch ) -- Weese is a business travel agent with over 21 years experience – the last 16 have been with Safe Harbors Travel Group. He has personally produced over $3.5 million in sales over the past year.
