“As the Vice President of Global Sales, Marketing and Meetings for our sister company Travel Leaders Corporate, John has excelled in his collaborative sales capabilities in attracting top notch clients to the fold. His extraordinary leadership skills will help us further accelerate our momentum and grow our Travel Leaders system even further," Block said.

Block noted that since the beginning of 2013, Travel Leaders has seen dramatic growth, adding 15 new locations this year alone. Most of the focus to date has been on adding larger travel agencies throughout the country that maintain a healthy mix of business and leisure travel. But with the advent of its award-winning Luxury Travel Center of Excellence two years ago, a growing number of Travel Leaders Associates are also focused on the lucrative luxury market, according to Block.

With its Business Travel Center of Excellence (known as Envision), Travel Leaders Associates has increasingly appealed to larger agencies that are seeking critical behind-the-scenes support, Block said.

“Since we launched Envision five years ago, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of larger corporate-oriented agencies wishing to affiliate with us,” Block explained. “They’re seeking us out because they realize we can serve as an extension of their agencies through all the major support we provide on everything from RFPs to critical function support in procuring and managing corporate technology solutions for self-booking.”

Brehm joined Travel Leaders Corporate in May 2009, responsible for directing  Global Sales, Marketing and Group efforts, identifying and developing new business opportunities and ensuring clients received technology and support.

Brehm began his career in 1994 with Avis Rent-A-Car and is a 12-year veteran of American Express Global Corporate Services, where he most recently served as Regional Vice President of Global Sales.
