Both versions of the weekly TravelFlash E-Scapes email present expert travel advice, exclusive offers and highlight a supplier partner or multiple suppliers, Travel Leaders notes boosting Travel Leaders' brand positioning.

Travel Leaders first launched its "On Your Behalf" (OYB) email program for TravelFlash E-Scapes in 2005 to provide member agencies a cost-effective way of engaging customers through timely, relevant, and consistent communications.
TravelFlash E-Scapes are sent to subscribers on a weekly basis from Travel Leaders headquarters on behalf of each participating agency, and each email appears to come directly from the agency that owns the client relationship. The TravelFlash email includes the Travel Leaders agency's contact information and links directly to their individual website.
Alternatively, Travel Leaders agencies may use the TravelFlash E-Scapes via the "On Your Own" (OWO) option. Each TravelFlash E-Scapes weekly email is created by Travel Leaders headquarters and published into each participating agency's "Email Manager" account.
Members can then send out the TravelFlash email as is or they can customize the message by adding additional offers, articles, and contact information before sending to their customer list. It also gives them the flexibility of sending out the email to only portions of their lists, if they wish, at whatever time they feel is most effective for their audience, Travel Leaders said.
Both methods of distribution allow for tracking and reporting on the performance of each email campaign at the agency level. Travel Leaders is also able to measure and test campaigns across both programs to gauge the effectiveness of messaging and offers, Travel Leaders reports.
