Travel Leaders' "Luxury Hotels & Resorts 2012 Collection" Grows

Travel Leaders reports that its award-winning “Luxury Hotels & Resorts Collection” for 2012 has more than doubled in size over the 2011 volume.

Nearly all of the participating luxury hotels are now providing complimentary daily breakfast for two, and most are also offering room upgrades, early check-in and late check-out, each based on availability, and all properties are competitively priced, Travel Leaders says.

Travel Leaders’ “Luxury Hotels & Resorts 2012 Collection” is being shipped this week to Travel Leaders members.

“Travel Leaders’ award-winning ‘Luxury Hotels & Resorts Collection’ is bigger than ever, both literally and figuratively. Once our members and their clients see this year’s edition, they’ll be impressed with the sheer size of the beautifully designed book – that’s because this year’s collection has more than doubled in size with hundreds of four- and five-star properties on six continents,” explained Roger E. Block, president of Travel Leaders Franchise Group.

“Since first launching our Luxury Hotel Program in 2001, Travel Leaders has been committed to providing our members and their most discerning clients with exceptional amenities at some of the most prestigious and sought-after hotels, resorts and boutique properties around the world that will further differentiate our agents from their competition,” Block said.

Block noted that Travel Leaders’ Luxury Hotel Program has now been incorporated as the cornerstone in the organization’s “Luxury Center of Excellence,” which was announced at the 2012 Travel Leaders National Meeting in Las Vegas. Block indicated that the significant growth in the “Luxury Hotels & Resorts 2012 Collection” underscores Travel Leaders’ commitment to providing industry leadership to the affluent and upscale traveler.

“We are highly confident our most upscale Travel Leaders clientele will be especially impressed with the magnificent array of distinctive amenities provided. In addition to the complimentary breakfasts, early check-ins and late check-outs and room upgrades, a growing number of our participating properties are also providing complimentary Internet access to Travel Leaders guests – but that’s far from all,” Block noted.

“Additionally, almost every hotel in the program provides a special in-room amenity, such as fresh flowers, fruit baskets, cheese plates, specialty wines, champagne and gourmet chocolates. Many also provide food and beverage credits (up to $100 per stay), along with service discounts on spa and health facilities. Then there are the very unique value-adds at some properties, ranging from afternoon tea for two to a complimentary luau,” Block said.
