Travel Leaders Franchise Group reports that Darla Chartier has been promoted to vice president. She will oversee the groups industry relationships with airline partners, Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and car rentals, as well as its Meetings and Support Services Departments.
Chartier first joined the company 25 years ago, where she most recently served in a director capacity with similar responsibilities. Chartier reports directly to Travel Leaders Franchise Group President Roger E. Block. “Darla has proven herself as a very effective leader and negotiator,” Block noted.
Chartier is directly responsible both for negotiating and maintaining Travel Leaders Franchise Group’s longstanding relationships with some of the industry’s top airlines on behalf of both Travel Leaders Associates and Results! Travel. Also in her industry relations purview is the continuation of robust relationships with both GDS and car rental suppliers.
Chartier began her career with the company in 1987 as a senior accounting clerk and worked her way up to several different industry relations roles through those years.
