Travel Leaders Reports $57 Million In New Business

cashTravel Leaders reports that new business travel accounts won by its wholly-owned and Associate (franchised) locations during the first half of 2013 total over $57 million.

Travel Leaders said that this is a conservative estimate given that the data is gathered through voluntary reporting of new business by both Travel Leaders Associates and Travel Leaders Corporate on a quarterly basis. Also, this does not include new business accounts won by any other Travel Leaders Group divisions or members.

“Our ‘I am a Leader’ culture resonates strongly with our customers and prospects because they understand that while we offer all the technology and tools they’d expect from a travel management company, it’s ultimately our people who provide them with their ‘Departure from the Ordinary’ experience,”  stated David Holyoke, president of Travel Leaders Corporate.

“While the first half of the year was solid for Travel Leaders Corporate, we are optimistic on what’s in our pipeline for the remainder of the year.  We continue to have strong client retention numbers as evidenced by no noteworthy client loss during the first two quarters of 2013," Holyoke said.

“Our Travel Leaders agencies across the country understand there are plentiful opportunities to show their value and return on investment to small- and mid-sized businesses in the realm of managed corporate travel. By using our ever-expanding library of tools, training and resources, they’re successfully growing their businesses,” stated Travel Leaders Franchise Group President Roger E. Block

“To assist our members, we have continued to enhance our offerings through our award-winning Business Travel Center of Excellence, from our proprietary pricing and profitability matrices (which have built-in calculations and formulas) and our Client Travel Policy Assessment Process to our successful Business Travel “Client Executive Forum” and our new Small Business Travel Client Resources, which we’ll be unveiling shortly. Looking ahead, we anticipate continued growth and business travel ‘wins’ by our members," Block said.

While all Travel Leaders Associates are welcome to report the total annual dollar volume of new business travel accounts signed per quarter, the 6-month totals include the voluntary reporting from a narrow group of Travel Leaders Associate agencies that focus a significant amount of their business on corporate travel, Travel Leaders said.

Travel Leaders Corporate is part of Travel Leaders Group,  with sales of nearly $18 billion in 2012.
