Travel Leaders of Tomorrow Enters Module Three

travel agentStudents enrolled in Travel Leaders of TomorrowTravel Leaders Group's educational program designed to attract new talent into the travel agency industry - are now moving to Module Three of the Virtual Campus. Module Three concentrates on tours and packages, with curriculum content provided in part from three program sponsors: Delta Vacations/MLT, Funjet Vacations and the Globus family of brands, Travel Leaders reports. When completed, student participants could potentially be placed into a Travel Leaders Group agency.

Heather Kindred, program director, said, "The beauty of this module is that our participants begin using the knowledge they've learned in the first half of the program in qualifying ëmock clientsí with the right destinations and products."

Kindred noted that Module Three works in tandem with The Travel Institute for improving essential geography skills, as well as studying sights and scenery of the United States, Canada and Western Europe (including the United Kingdom). The projects that must be completed by participants include matching traveler psychographics with the tours, packages and all-inclusives available through Module Three's trio of sponsors.

"To date, Travel Leaders of Tomorrow's Virtual Campus activities have been a huge hit with our program participants, and thanks to the substantial contributions from our supplier sponsors, we've been able to provide unique and customized content," explained Kindred.

"All class activities are conducted via webinar, and they often include the use of webcams, particularly when we've had guest faculty from such sponsors as Hertz, Marriott and Travel Insured providing instruction that is focused much more on the industry than simply on their product. It's this level of crucial support that demonstrates that our program sponsors are every bit as committed to bringing new travel professionals into our business as we are," Kindred said.

Kindred also noted that some of its students were invited to participate in various industry functions this fall, including such events as MLT University, CoNexion 2013 and CruiseWorld.

Module One was launched in April 2013, while Module Two was formally introduced this past August.
