Travel Leaders Unveils “Luxury Working Lunch” Series

regent seven seas voyagerLuxury-focused travel agent members of the Travel Leaders Associate program  have a new way to sharpen their knowledge and skills in selling the industry’s premier luxury and experiential suppliers through its Luxury Working Lunch series, Travel Leaders reports.

The Luxury Working Lunch series features live, online presentations that are conducted exclusively for Travel Leaders member agents by senior-level executives from Travel Leaders’ preferred luxury hotels, tour operators and cruise lines in collaboration with Travel Leaders’ Luxury Travel Center of Excellence.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Starwood Hotels and Travel Leaders’ proprietary In-Country Partners will headline the next four Luxury Working Lunches scheduled over the next month. Suppliers previously headlining Travel Leaders’ Luxury Working Lunches have included Abercrombie & Kent, Cunard Line, Island Destinations, Seabourn Cruise Line, Travcoa, Travel2 and Un-Cruise Adventures.

“Our specific goal with each Luxury Working Lunch is to provide our luxury-focused travel agents with ‘insider’ product information, candid competitive product comparisons and creative sales strategies directly from each participating supplier that can’t be found anywhere else – in fact, you just won’t hear these in other supplier presentations,” explained Roger E. Block, CTC, President of Travel Leaders Franchise Group.

“Since we first launched our series last year, we’ve more than doubled the number of agents participating, and they’ve made it one of the most highly-rated educational opportunities we offer in terms of sales development value," Block said.

Each Luxury Working Lunch is hosted by Travel Leaders’ Luxury Travel Center of Excellence leadership and includes a facilitated, interactive agent “Q&A” session with each major supplier.

Travel Leaders agents unable to join the live call are able to watch and listen to the recorded event since each one is posted on Mercavia, Travel Leaders members’ password-protected extranet site. Additionally, participating suppliers are provided with contact information for all agent attendees for follow-up and production tracking.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises will headline Travel Leaders’ next Luxury Working Lunch scheduled for 1 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, May 29. “What would a luxury series be without Regent Seven Seas? They have long been a recognized leader in cruise innovation and value, pioneering the most inclusive luxury cruise experience in the industry, so it’s only a natural that this longtime partner joins us in detailing how almost all of their newest customers are stepping up from a premium cruise experience,” noted Block.

Travel Leaders members and their agents are invited to register for all upcoming Luxury Working Lunches by visiting Mercavia.com’s Education and Training section.
