Travel Leaders reports new business travel accounts won by its wholly-owned and Associate (franchised) locations during the third quarter of 2013 total nearly $83 million.
Travel Leaders said this is a conservative estimate given that the data is gathered through voluntary reporting of new business by both Travel Leaders Associates and Travel Leaders Corporate on a quarterly basis. Also, this does not include new business accounts won by any other Travel Leaders Group divisions or members.

“The third quarter of this year was tremendously strong for our Travel Leaders members across the country in terms of successfully signing new business travel accounts – and gaining additional incremental business from existing clients,” stated Travel Leaders Franchise Group President Roger E. Block.
“The tools we provide through our Business Travel Center of Excellence have certainly been an asset to our members in going after accounts of various sizes and in retaining the clients they currently have. But the growth this quarter is also a testament to each of those franchise owners. They have cultivated leads and patiently worked their pipeline in order to succeed in gaining additional business," Block said.

While all Travel Leaders Associates are welcome to report the total annual dollar volume of new business travel accounts signed per quarter, the totals for August 1 – October 31, 2013, include the voluntary reporting from a narrow group of Travel Leaders Associate agencies that focus a significant amount of their business on corporate travel, the company said.
