Dana Welch has been named to serve as a member liaison and professional travel advisor to promote and implement services offered to the members of the Travel Society, a full service host travel agency and a member of Virtuoso.
Welch has 21 years of industry experience in owning and managing travel businesses, as well as her 19 years of experience with the Travel Society.
“With Dana’s understanding of the travel industry and honest and upfront attitude, she is an excellent travel advisor to represent our membership and their views,” said Randy Yaroch, managing director of the Travel Society.
Her expertise earned her recognition from Travel and Leisure Magazine's A-List for Specialist in Africa, Active and Experiential Travel, for nine consecutive years.
Welch said:, “I am honored to be offered this role and I look forward to providing the Travel Society with feedback on how professional travel advisors roles are changing and how to best be a resource for our membership."
The Travel Society also recently launched two new pricing programs. Through the new pricing program, The Travel Society looks to expand upon its network of over 160 travel advisors by offering a pricing model that allows travel advisors to choose a program that meets their needs and helps them maximize their revenue and profits while reducing overhead cost.
