Uniglobe Travel Center 2013 Conference Sells Out Room Block

travel agentU. Gary Charlwood, Uniglobe Travel International's founder and member of both the ASTA and International Franchise Association Halls of Fame will be a co-featured speaker along with industry radio talk show personality Stuart Cohen at Uniglobe Travel Center's 2013 Annual Conference.

With more than a month until kick-off, Betsy Geiser, vice president of Uniglobe Travel Center (UTC) reports that the Hotel Room Block at The Marriott, Dana Point has been exhausted.

The solid attendance underscores the commitment of our members and preferred suppliers, Geiser observed. "We have an unbeatable combination of location and programming which resonated with our group."

Themed 'Going The Distance' the conference will be held on the Cliffs overlooking Dana Point Harbor. 

Dan Chappelle, vice president, sales at Windstar will conducting a session on Upselling/ Making the Most of each sale. Peer-to-Peer Best Practices Think Tanks will be moderated by UTC's Director of Sales Mary Clegg and industry consultant Jim Smith. The conference combines Agent Networking, Technology showcases and a Preferred Partner Trade Show. 

A number of destination appropriate special events and social functions  are planned for conference delegates.
