After successfully hosting its annual meeting at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for the last two years, Vacation.com has selected the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort as the site of its 12th International Conference and Trade Show, taking place June 27 through July 1, 2010.
“We are excited to partner with Marriott—one of our excellent Preferred Suppliers—for our next Conference,” said Lauraday Kelley, Vacation.com’s vice president of conference and corporate communications. “With so much space at this venue, we will be able to take the show to new heights, providing a truly unique learning and entertainment experience for our members.”
The world’s largest Marriott, the Orlando World Center is a centrally-located golf and spa resort set on 200 lush Central Florida acres. It features more than 2,000 guest rooms and suites, along with 450,000 square feet of event space.
Along with an outstanding educational lineup, world-class entertainment, product demonstrations, thought-provoking general sessions and a packed trade show, 2010’s Conference plans include pre- and post-event cruise opportunities, a ship inspection with lunch and a golf tournament.

Results from a survey given at the end of the 2009 Conference showed that 90 percent of attendees were committed to returning next year, mostly due the event’s 95 percent overall satisfaction rating.
“To have so many attendees promise to return to next year’s Conference before we selected the destination speaks volumes about the dedication of our members to improve their sales abilities and increase their product knowledge,” added Kelley.
