Font size: A A A A Conference Offers 100 Hours of Training

February 23, 2009 By: George Dooley has unveiled an intensive training schedule for its 11th International Conference & Trade Show in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace, June 16-20. This includes over 100 hours of training such as marketing and technology classes, supplier and destination seminars, and numerous courses on’s exclusive programs such as EZguider, Engagement and Vacation Vignettes.

Class registration opens in April and attendees are urged to select their classes early. In recognition of current marketplace, a session titled “Retail Travel’s Recession-Proof Revenues” is expected to fill quickly. Contemporary marketing topics include Smart Google-ing, Making Social Media Work for You, Marvelous Marketing, and Getting to Know Your Databases. A speaker lineup will feature Nolan Burris, Mike Marchev, Mark McMullen and Stuart Ellis-Myers.

“This year’s educational lineup is the most comprehensive,” said Lauraday Kelley,’s vice president of conference and corporate communications. “Class content includes practical strategies that both longtime industry veterans and new frontline agents can easily implement.” 

With pre and post conference fam trips, agents will have the opportunity to explore what is new and hot in Las Vegas.
