Vacation.com's 2015 Conference to Be Held Aboard Quantum of the Seas (SLIDESHOW)

It was another big year for Vacation.com as they closed out their 16th annual International Conference & Trade Show in Las Vegas

As per usual, the conference was filled with jam-packed sessions, seminars, meetings and entertainment. More than 1,500 agents and suppliers were in attendance, which is a record-breaking number for Vacation.com’s conference.

“The number of Vacation.com members continues to increase, so it’s no surprise that we see the momentum build with our International Conference & Trade Show,” says John Lovell, Vacation.com president. “As we continue to see vast changes throughout the travel industry, especially on the technology front, a larger cross-section of our Vacation.com members understand that by attending this annual Conference, they have countless opportunities to become better acquainted with the new technology, programs and tools that we make available to them.”

Vacation.com also announced this year the addition of more than 200 agencies to the consortium. This brings the number of actual travel agents in the network to around 21,000. “We’ve had exceptional recruitment over the years, and some of the largest agencies across North America are proud to call Vacation.com their preferred travel services marketing organization,” Lovell says.

The conference concluded with the annual awards ceremony and farewell reception, and another big announcement: Vacation.co is returning to the sea.

In 2012 Vacation.com held its annual conference aboard the Oasis of the Seas and next year the show will return to Royal Caribbean aboard the newly built Quantum of the Seas. Vacation.com’s 17th annual International Conference & Trade Show will take place April 24 through May 2, 2015. The eight-night sailing will depart from Cape Liberty in Bayonne, NJ.
