Virtuoso has announced a new slate of exclusive benefits available at the newly opened Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York.
Virtuoso welcomed Baccarat’s only hotel into its Preview program in 2014. The French crystal company’s first hotel opened its doors to the world on March 18, in midtown Manhattan, and guests who reserve their stay through a Virtuoso-affiliated travel advisor will receive a guaranteed upgrade at the time of booking for stays between now and April 30, 2015.
In addition, they also will receive:
- Daily Continental breakfast, for up to two guests per room
- $100 food and beverage credit
- Early check-in/late check-out, subject to availability
With an exclusive partnership during its first six months of operations, clients of Virtuoso travel advisors will receive benefits unavailable elsewhere.
With 114 guestrooms and suites, each accommodation offers Baccarat crystal accents, floor-to-ceiling windows, and custom-made linens from the luxury Italian company, Mascioni. Paris-based design duo Gilles & Boissier created nearly every piece of furniture for the hotel’s public spaces – adorning lamps, walls, and arches with the company’s crystal. Amenities include the first Spa de La Mer from ultra-luxury skin-care brand, La Mer, a fitness center and 55-foot-long indoor pool, as well as an on-call chauffeured vintage Citroën DS.
Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York will also be home to Chevalier Restaurant, named for longtime Baccarat creative director, George Chevalier, as well as The Grand Salon with floor-to-ceiling glass reflecting light from the chandeliers above. The Bar will have Baccarat chandeliers and pieces of fine art from the 18th century through today, and an outdoor terrace offering views of the Museum of Modern Art.
