War Veteran Deal at Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort in Costa Rica

more deals

In observance of Veteran’s Day on Nov. 11, Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort in Costa Rica, the five-star, carbon-neutral resort in the shadow of the active Arenal Volcano, introduces a year-round discount for active military servicemen and women, veterans and their families. The 30 percent discount lowers the resort’s nightly rate of $195, for example, to $136, for a superior room, based on double occupancy and includes taxes.

The discount is available for all room categories, dining options (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and spa treatments. This deal is subject to some restrictions and blackout dates. The reduced rate does not apply to off-property excursions. The promotion is valid from Nov. 1, 2011 through Nov. 1, 2012.

During their stay, guests have unlimited access to the resort’s thermal mineral hot springs, lagoons and river pools and, nearby, can enjoy ziplining through the rainforest, navigating Costa Rica’s picturesque hanging bridges and hiking to the Arenal Volcano. The resort’s top-rated chefs offer a combination of Ayurvedic, Costa Rican and international cuisine. At The Grand Spa, signature services such as a Volcanic Mud Wrap use local mud from the volcano.
