2012 Marks Avoya Travel's Best Year To Date

The American Express Travel Representative reports double-digit sales growth, millions in bonus savings and extra amenities provided to travelers, the growing number of new and repeat clients and the increase of commission earnings by the Independent Agencies that are part of Avoya.

In 2012, Avoya also had many accomplishments that contributed to the record levels of success. For example, Avoya pre-booked over 50,000 cruise staterooms to secure lower prices, bonus amenities, and hold the best inventory for Avoya to sell exclusively to its customers. Avoya also helped travelers save millions of dollars in additional savings and bonus amenities through the Avoya Advantage. Avoya expanded the Avoya Mastermind Program, which helps increase the success of Avoya’s Independent Agency Network through a personalized and small group approach to motivational business development.  New electronic and direct mail marketing campaigns generated a record amount of sales through Avoya’s Live Leads program, and Brad and Van Anderson, co-presidents of Avoya Travel, were named the first inductees into the Cruise Line International Association’s Hall of Fame as Cruise Sales Innovators. Finally, Avoya was named Travel Agency of the Year by both Celebrity Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line.
