American Cruise Lines has announced that its newest, currently under construction cruise ship is 11 weeks ahead of schedule, with an anticipated delivery of Q1 2017.

The as-yet-unnamed, ocean capable vessel with full active wing stabilization, which is being built at Chesapeake Shipbuilding of Salisbury, MD, will have a capacity of 170 guests and staterooms of over 350 square feet, with private balconies and butler-delivered room service. The ship's dining room will be capable of hosting all guests in one seating, with panoramic views of the passing scenery.

The ship will also carry a number of Zodiacs and kayaks to help guests explore, and new technological advancements aim to make the ship quieter and more environmentally friendly. Additionally, wider gangways will allow easier handicap accessibility throughout the ship.
