Carnival Breeze To Introduce New "Techie" Option

May 22, 2012 By: Susan Young

Carnival Cruise Line guests who take their iPad, smartphone, Kindle, laptop or many other techie devices onboard the new Carnival Breeze will be able to access certain features at the Fun Hub station onboard for free.

John Heald, the popular Carnival ( cruise director who has a personal blog, revealed the information on Tuesday in an update to cruisers.

Heald said guests with Internet-enabled devices will have immediate access to the Funtimes daily newsletter, dining menus, videos and other cruise-related fodder.

That said, if guests hit the "Internet Access" button, they'll move over to the Carnival Internet, a separate function which will remain a paid service with the usual charges for online use.

Heald said "we will hopefully roll this out to all the ships as they receive their [Fun Ship] 2.0 upgrades, and I will have more information in the days ahead."

What do you think of this $type?
