Carnival Discloses Splendor's Decor

When the Carnival Splendor comes into service next July, the 3,006-passenger ship will have a central idea that ties the rooms together through a concept of elegance, said Carnival's architect Joe Farcus. "We used elements like pearls, gold leaf and wood grains to give the ship a feeling of richness," he said. The ship, Carnival's biggest, will represent a new class of vessel for the line and include a 21,000-square-foot spa, with spa staterooms. Visit [www.carnival.com].
