Carnival Offers Excursions for Carnival Breeze's First European Season

In honor of Carnival Breeze's inaugural season in Europe, Carnival Cruise Lines has assembled a diverse array of shore excursions with more than 180 different options.

Carnival Breeze's inaugural European season began on June 3 and will run through October 25, providing guests with the opportunity to explore ports in Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, France, Spain and Monte Carlo.

A sampling of excursions include:

Three Island Yacht Cruise (Dubrovnik, Croatia):  Guests will visit Lokrum Island, Kolocep and Lopud.

Essence of Tuscany (Livorno, Italy): Guests will visit the town of San Gimignano and after enjoying a traditional Italian meal in a nearby farmhouse, they can explore Siena.

Mt. Etna at 2,900 Feet (Messina, Italy): The seven-and-a-half-hour excursion allows guests to tour Europe's largest active volcano and the famous Silvestri Crater.

Secrets of Naples (Naples, Italy): The five-hour journey gives guests the opportunity to explore the famous city.

Vatican Gardens, St. Peter's & Rome(Civitavecchia, Italy): The private, 10-hour tour includes a typical Italian lunch.  The day concludes with a tour of Roman highlights.

Carnival Breeze's summer schedule offers 12-day Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona from June 15 through October 25 (with the exception of August 26).  The Mediterranean cruises include stops at Marseilles or Monaco, Livorno, Naples or Salerno, Italy, Dubrovnik, Venice, Civitavecchia (Rome), and Messina.  Select voyages also include overnights in Venice or Civitavecchia.
