Carnival to Sail From San Juan Oct. 15; Updates Through December

Carnival Fascination will resume sailing from San Juan October 15, as Puerto Rico continues the long process of recovery following the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria.

Our teams visit this past week confirmed the Old San Juan area is ready to receive tourists, Carnival Cruise Line said in a Facebook update shared by brand ambassador John Heald. Many shops and businesses have returned to their normal business operations with more opening up every day.

Like you, we were saddened to see the impact the recent storm had on Puerto Rico, Carnival said. Tourism is very important to their economy, and with your help, we are pleased to play an important role in aiding their recovery efforts in a meaningful way.

As Puerto Rico and other islands in the Caribbean continue to recover from Hurricane Maria and Hurricane Irma, Carnival is continuing to make itinerary adjustments. Cruises departing San Juan October 15 through November 5 will sail a seven-day itinerary to Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua and St. Kitts. Sailings departing November 12 will offer a seven-day itinerary to Martinique, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua and St. Kitts, while seven-day itineraries departing November 19 through November 26 will call at Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua and St. Kitts.

Carnival is adjusting a number of seven-day itineraries departing Barbados as well. From October 18 through November 1, sailings will call at St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Kitts, San Juan and Grenada. The November 8 sailing will call at St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Kitts, San Juan and Martinique, and sailings from November 15 through November 22 will call at St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Kitts, San Juan and Grenada.

Carnival said it will continue to evaluate its ability to return to St. Thomas and St. Maarten, and will provide further updates on December sailings and beyond as they become available. The following departures have been modified through the end of the year, with additional updates to be posted soon:

  • Carnival Magic – November 4: Departing Port Canaveral on a 7 day cruise to Amber Cove, Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau.
  • Carnival Vista – November 4: Departing Miami on an 8 day cruise to Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao.
  • Carnival Conquest – November 5: Departing Port Everglades on a 6 day cruise to Nassau, Half Moon Cay and Amber Cove.
  • Carnival Ecstasy – November 5: Departing Charleston on a 10 day cruise to Aruba, Bonaire, Grand Turk and Princess Cays.
  • Carnival Splendor – November 5: Departing Miami on a 7 day cruise to Ocho Rios, Amber Cove and Grand Turk.
  • Carnival Conquest – November 11: Departing Port Everglades on an 8 day cruise to Princess Cays, La Romana, Curacao and Aruba.
  • Carnival Glory – November 11: Departing Miami on a 7 day cruise to Half Moon Cay, Nassau, Amber Cove and Grand Turk.
  • Carnival Magic – November 18: Departing Port Canaveral on a 7 day cruise Costa Maya, Mahogany Bay, Belize and Cozumel.
  • Carnival Splendor – November 19: Departing Miami on a 7 day cruise to Nassau, Amber Cove, Grand Turk and Princess Cays.
  • Carnival Conquest – November 25: Departing Port Everglades on an 8 day cruise to Antigua, St. Kitts and Grand Turk.
  • Carnival Glory – November 25: Departing Miami on a 7 day cruise to Half Moon Cay, Nassau, Amber Cove and Grand Turk.
  • Carnival Sensation – November 25: Departing Miami on a 5 day cruise to Princess Cays and Amber Cove.
  • Carnival Sunshine – December 1: Departing Port Canaveral on an 8 day cruise to Grand Turk, St. Kitts and Amber Cove.
  • Carnival Magic – December 2: Departing Port Canaveral on a 7 day cruise to Amber Cove, Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau.
  • Carnival Splendor – December 3: Departing Miami on a 7 day cruise to Nassau, Amber Cove, Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay.
  • Carnival Conquest – December 9: Departing Port Everglades on an 8 day cruise to Amber Cove, La Romana, Curacao and Aruba.
  • Carnival Glory – December 9: Departing Miami on a 7 day cruise to Half Moon Cay, Nassau, Amber Cove and Grand Turk.
  • Carnival Sunshine – December 9: Departing Port Canaveral on an 8 day cruise to Grand Turk, St. Kitts and Amber Cove.
  • Carnival Magic – December 16: Departing Port Canaveral on a 7 day cruise to Amber Cove, Grand Turk, Nassau and Freeport.
  • Carnival Glory – December 23: Departing Miami on a 7 day cruise to Grand Turk, Amber Cove and San Juan.
  • Carnival Sunshine – December 23: Departing Port Canaveral on an 8 day cruise to Grand Turk, St. Kitts and Amber Cove.
  • Carnival Magic – December 30: Departing Port Canaveral on a 7 day cruise to Grand Turk, Amber Cove and San Juan.
  • Carnival Vista – December 30: Departing Miami on an 8 day cruise to Amber Cove, San Juan, St. Kitts and Grand Turk.
  • Carnival Splendor – December 31: Departing Miami on a 7 day cruise to Princess Cays, Grand Turk, San Juan and Amber Cove.
