Carnival TV Shows Renewed for Second Season

Carnival Corporation has announced that its first original travel network television programming has been renewed for a second season. The company made the announcement at the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) Global Convention. "The Voyager with Josh Garcia" will premiere on NBC stations Saturday, September 30.  "Ocean Treks with Jeff Corwin" and "Vacation Creation with Tommy Davidson and Andrea Feczko" will begin on Saturday, October 7 on ABC stations.

The three Carnival original series were recently were honored with 10 Telly Awards, which recognize the best in TV and cable, digital and streaming, and non-broadcast productions. 

For its second season, “Ocean Treks with Jeff Corwin,” audiences will travel to Iceland, Belize Peru, and Japan. daytime Emmy-winning block “Weekend Adventure,” a three-hour programming block airing Saturday mornings on 98 percent of the country’s ABC affiliate channels. 

“Vacation Creation Creation with Tommy Davidson and Andrea Feczko” is also featured on “Weekend Adventure.” The two hosts work together to personalize vacations for couples, individuals, and families facing hardship, in need of hope, or seeking much-needed time together. Locations featured on the show include glaciers of Alaska and Moko Jumbie of the Virgin Islands. 

“The Voyager with Josh Garcia” runs during NBC’s “The More You Know” programming block, which is available across the country. This season, viewers will travel with Garcia as he treks along Alaska’s majestic Mendenhall glacier, samples traditional Thai food in Bangkok, and ventures to the mountains of Taiwan to learn how traditional tea is farmed and prepared.
