Celebrity Cruises is announcing the largest number of departures from the Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro) in its history. Beginning March 2014, Celebrity Cruises will launch a total of eight round-trip sailings from Los Angeles to Pacific Coast ports, including destinations in Mexico and Canada. Included in these eight Los Angeles sailings are specialty cruises for beer and wine enthusiasts.
Travelers will sail aboard the Celebrity Century on 7-, 8-,11- or 13-night Pacific Coastal and Gold Rush cruises departing in March, April and May 2014. The cruises depart from Los Angeles and visit various U.S. Pacific Coast ports of call, including Santa Barbara, San Francisco (overnight), Monterey, Catalina Island and Seattle, as well as Ensenada, Mexico or Victoria and Vancouver, BritishColumbia. Prices for a seven-night cruise start at $599 per person for an inside stateroom.
Working in conjunction with the California Beer Festival and Cruise Specialists, Celebrity Cruises will also offer one of the industry’s first craft beer cruises leaving the Port of Los Angeles on April 12, 2014. The seven-night California Beer Festival at Sea will travel up the California coast with stops in SantaBarbara, San Francisco (overnight), Monterey, Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. There will be specially planned beer and lunch pairings, a craft beer round table, and “CBF Craft Beer Heaven” featuring Ninkasi and Lagunitas Brewing Companies. Prices start at $639 per person for an inside stateroom and $1,089 per person for ConciergeClass, among other categories of stateroom and luxury suite accommodations.
Also planned are two Wine Cruises; March 21, 2014 in partnership with Costco Travel and Zaca Mesa Winery celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the movie "Sideways," and April 19, 2014 in partnership with Worldview Travel and the California Wine Festival. Both wine cruises will depart from the Port of Los Angeles.
