Century Cruises Launches the Century Legend

Century Cruises launched its second new 398-guest vessel, Century Legend. The Century Legend's identical sister ship Century Paragon was launched in March of this year. With the introduction of the Century Legend, Century Cruises grows to a fleet of seven.

The Century Legend will sail on Saturdays for four day/three night itineraries downstream between Chongqing and Yichang and on Tuesdays for five day/four night itineraries upstream on the same route. The itineraries visit the Yangtze River highlights of Shibao Pagoda, the Three Gorges of Daning River or Shennong Stream), the Three Gorges Dam as well as a transit of the dam’s locks system.

Like sister ship Century Paragon, the Century Legend includes extended exterior scenic sightseeing elevators; a seven-story grand atrium lobbies; a 2,000 square foot indoor swimming pool and leisure area. Both ships also have a large, pillar-less multifunction room with 12-foot ceilings that hosts evening performances and guest lectures. For entertainment, guests can also enjoy 150-seat HD cinema with multi-lingual capabilities. WiFi is available throughout the ship.

Century Cruises provides a private balcony in all staterooms designed specifically to provide views of the Yangtze river.
