Cruise Lines International Association has announced that it has added 67 new members to its Executive Partner Program following Seatrade Cruise Global in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The cruise industry trade association hosted more than 400 industry suppliers and cruise executives as part of the Executive Partner Program during its annual Diamond Dinner, Business on the Beach and CLIA Connect events.
Launched in 2015, the global program includes more than 300 industry suppliers worldwide and is expected to welcome 100 new members in 2017. This year, the program kicked off its first-ever Executive Partner Conference in London, where attendees discussed port and destination and technical and regulatory topics.
The Executive Partner Program is broken down into several membership communities:
- Port & Destination: Port authorities, associations, tourism boards, CVBs, port agents, shore excursion operators and similar companies seeking to actively engage with cruise line decision makers
- Travel & Tourism Providers: Hotels, airlines, car rental companies, ground service providers and similar companies seeking opportunities to build relationships with CLIA Travel Agency and Individual Agent Members and cruise line decision makers
- Technical & Supply Chain Providers: Technology hardware suppliers, ship yards and their suppliers, interior outfitters, IT solutions, environmental products and solutions, food and beverage services, retail concession providers and similar companies seeking access to cruise line decision makers and CLIA subject matter experts
- Professional Service Providers: Consultants, professional service firms, media, insurance providers, classification societies and similar companies seeking to enhance or expand their business relationships within the cruise industry
The next CLIA Executive Partner event is the second-annual Summit at Sea, taking place aboard Cunard's Queen Elizabeth May 9-12.
