The cruise ship will be officially launching in Singapore this Saturday, January 7. Seabourn Encore will spend its first season sailing the Pacific Rim in Australia and New Zealand, before returning to Europe in April 2017 to spend summer cruising the Mediterranean. The inaugural voyage will be a 10-day cruise to Bali, Indonesia.

Designed by hospitality design icon Adam D. Tihany, the 40,350-GRT vessel’s design elements and innovations build upon the Odyssey-class ships; notably it received an additional deck and expanded public areas. The Retreat, a hideaway designed for guests to relax in private cabanas, and Spa Treatment Cabana, for personalize spa services, are among the new amenities.

The new Spa and Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil Mindful Living program also debuts on Seabourn Encore. Dr. Weil will sail on the inaugural voyage.

Guests of Seabourn Encore will be treated with personalized service and will benefit from a high staff-to-guest ratio. The ship can carry 600 guests in 300 suites, each with a private verandah.

A sibling ship, Seabourn Ovation, will join the fleet in 2018.
