Crystal Adds Berths To Serenity

Demand for Mediterranean cruises and beyond has motivated Crystal Cruises to add 20 third-berth accommodations to Crystal Serenity, an overall increase of 15 percent. Crystal cited a busy summer season and rise in family travel as the impetus for augmenting accommodations. The luxury two-ship line is introducing new in-room sofas that fold out to single beds. The changes reflect the current trend of European sailing and factor into Serenity's upcoming Thanksgiving voyage in the Caribbean and Panama Canal where kids 11 years old and under sail free. Fares for the 11-day Thanksgiving voyage, departing November 19 from Miami, begin at $3,380 per person based on double occupancy.
